The reader has to decide if they are a 'peat freak' or not. What I mean is this whisky is one of the most smokey and peaty of the Islay single malts. Many newcomers to scotch are not fans of this flavor profile. Accordingly, it would be prudent to try this in a bar first before buying a bottle.
