Samoa; one of the most beautiful and exciting places you can take your girlfriend. You may have heard that it’s a great place to try your hand at watersports. You can surf here, snorkel, and scuba dive. If that’s not magical, I don’t know what is! But hang on, that isn’t all. One of Samoa’s most magical places is hidden in Upolu. The blowhole in Upolu looks like paradise on earth, and the most romantic place for you to both swim and have fun.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica is so romantic that many couples choose to get married here! So what makes people head to the travel agents and book a luxury villa in Costa Rica? It’s the happiest place on earth! You won’t believe it until you’ve been there, but it’s true. The people are lovely and happy, the wildlife is colourful and diverse, and the scenery is just breathtaking.
Italy
Italy is world renowned for being one of the most romantic places in the world. Let’s start with Venice; although it might be expensive, there’s nothing quite like hopping in a gondola and being serenaded by the…captain? I don’t know what you’d call them, but they’re amazing singers for sure! Then you have places like Apulia, which are home to things like The Trulli. The Trulli are gorgeous fairytale houses that people actually live in – you’ll think you’ve stepped into The Hobbit (without all of the nasty creatures). The Italian lakes are also breathtaking, with Lake Garda being the most popular (and perhaps most beautiful).
Ukraine
I bet you never thought that Ukraine would make the list! Well, we like to be a little different on this blog and thought we’d replace France altogether. Good riddance to France and the bridge with all of the silly locks on it! You don’t need a place like that when you have Ukraine, home to the tunnel of love. The tunnel of love is a naturally occurring beauty that you’ll feel amazing inside of. Just don’t spend too long there…trains come through 3 times a day. Don’t let that put you off though!
Scotland
Bonny Scotland has got many romantic things for couples to do and see. My favourite? The Fairy Glen. Head over to the Isle of Skye and explore the magical valley. You could easily believe that you’d stepped into a real life fantasy film. You might even spot a real fairy, who knows?
